Product Terms & Conditions

Quotation Process:

We provide a written quotation with quotation number for all products sold.

Please always reference this quotation number upon ordering. If the order is placed without this quotation number we cannot guarantee the price and delivery will be the same as that of the quotation. All quotations have an expiration date. Orders placed after the expiration date may not receive the price and delivery indicated in the original quotation. 

Ordering Process:

When you place an order, we estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on product availability and the shipping options you choose.

For ALL In-Stock Items we guarantee that these items will be shipped when and in the manner as ordered at the time of the order.

For All Non-Stock items ( items not currently in stock under our control in our warehouse), we are relying upon our manufacturing/supplier partners to provide us with accurate information and hence only warrant that we will do our best efforts to delivery them when and in the manner as ordered.

Product/Part Description: We try to be exhaustive and as detailed as possible on our description of complex items. However, often language is a barrier, so If you have any questions about any items, please contact us directly, and we will clarify any questions you may have prior to your order.

Orders in Process:

After your orders have been placed, Please address all correspondence concerning orders in process to  We have a dedicated team to handle all items and provide a 4 hour response time with an updated ship/delivery date for every request.

Shipping Timelines:

We may encounter a small delay in order shipments and specific product availability due to supply chain & freight challenges. We will make sure to be clear and transparent with all order details if they happen to arise. Your patience and support is greatly appreciated.

Product Receipt: Please contact us right away if you have questions upon receiving your order.  We realize everyone gets busy, but you must contact us with 5 days of receipt of any order if you have a question about it. Please open your product and validate that it is the right product. If you are in doubt - contact us immediately and  please do not plug it in - as any item that has been energized cannot be returned. NO EXCEPTIONS

Product Order Questions: If you have questions, please contact us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return or what the warranty issue is. We will respond quickly to make sure your customer service experience is positive.

Typically, returns are not accepted as there is no Cooling-Off Period, unless there are extraordinary circumstances, or an error by Lithium. We will work with you in these unique situations to make sure you are happy. 

Returns due to Our Error: If the return is due to our error (incorrect model or color), we'll pay the return shipping costs, and ship the correct item to you right away. 

Refunds: in the case of refund, you should expect a refund update within a week of sending the item back, in many cases quicker. This estimated time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5-to-10 business days), time to process your return once received (3-to-5 business days), and time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5-to-10 business days).

Product Returns in Original Packaging and Unused: If the product to be returned is in its original unopened packaging and has not been used, and Lithium has been notified within 5 days that the item was ordered in error, Lithium will only accept a return if Lithium has issued a Return Authorization Number. 

Return Authorization Process: At the time the RA number is given, it will be determined who is paying return freight and freight for replacement items. A re-stocking fee may be charged depending upon product and order details. 


We Ship Everywhere: We regularly ship anywhere in the contiguous US, but can ship to any address in the world.  Some products have restrictions, and some products cannot be shipped internationally.  Contact us for these unique destinations.  Please contact us for the best delivery method for heavier items due to LTL circumstances and/or hazmat classifications.

Shipping Costs: We never, repeat never, up-charge for shipping. We will always endeavor to ship the best - most cost effective way. All shipping charges are passed on our customers. We are more than happy to have our customers provide their shipping carrier/ use their shipping agent. 

FREE SHIPPING: All products shipped under this classification are shipped the best way for the specific product. We do not offer free shipping to locations that charge a duty on the products in question or require inspection at any border or require an export license. 



New Engine and Rebuilt Engine Limited Warranties

Lithium and/or its manufacturers warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal usage with proper installation and routine maintenance for the following periods confirmed at the time of purchase. 

24Month Limited Warranty: a period of twenty-four (24) months from date of delivery of products to end customers (the “Limited Warranty Period”).

12Month Limited Warranty: a period of twelve (12) months from date of delivery of products to end customers (the “Limited Warranty Period”).

6 Month Limited Warranty: a period of six (6) months from date of delivery of products to end customers (the “Limited Warranty Period”).

3 Month Limited Warranty: a period of three (3) months from date of delivery of products to end customers (the “Limited Warranty Period”).

15 Day Limited Warranty: a period of fifteen (15) days from date of delivery of products to end customers (the “Limited Warranty Period”).

Limited Warranties are dependent on the Engine/Motor/System being serviced by an Approved Maintenance Technician for the item in question. At the time of the delivery we will provide a list of approved partners. Use of anyone other than the approved partners voids any warranty. 

The Limited Warranty is provided only to the first end customer. The Customer is entitled to free repair or replacement of defective or non-conform parts. Any warranty claim must be made within one (1) month of discovery of issues as provided below.

Transfer to New Buyer of Limited Warranty: If the customer wishes to sell the boat, and wishes to provide the boat buyer with extended coverage of the item in question, upon written request from the  First End Customer, Lithium may extent such Limited Warranty upon terms and conditions which it sets at the time of the request. Lithium may inspect the item at this time to determine whether or not to extend such warranty.

Extended Maintenance Contract: If the Limited Warranty Period expires, you can still enjoy maintenance services from us with minimum maintenance charge per occurrence.

Scope of Limited Warranty: In all warranty cases, Lithium and/or the manufactures will only bear the direct repair cost of equipment and labor costs associated with disassembly, transportation, reassembly, and reinstallation of the equipment as a direct result of issues covered by the Limited Warranty only. Any costs irrelevant to or outside of the scope of the Limited Warranty will be born by the Customer alone.

Beyond the Limited Warranty, the Customer may have statutory rights in your jurisdiction according to applicable laws. Nothing in this Limited Warranty affects such rights. The Customer may have warranty claim rights arising from the purchase contract with Lithium and/or Service Partners in addition to the rights granted by this Limited Warranty.

Products for commercial/professional use, even if only temporarily, are not covered by the Limited Warranty. Instead, the statutory warranty in your jurisdiction shall apply. You are encouraged to consult with us for applicable warranty and advice before engaging in such use.* Commercial/professional Use refers to application cases that have high use frequency, high-reliability requirement or aim for money making, etc.

Lithium and the manufacturers of products we sell may refuse a warranty claim if:

Engine/Motor Warranty Claim Procedures

The Customer shall follow the warranty claim process to make a Limited Warranty claim:

1. Contact us ASAP and we will provide further instruction to you if such defects are covered by the Our Limited Warranty or that of the manufacturer.

2. Send the defective product to us together with Proof of 1st-time Purchase (e.g., receipt, invoice, etc., with information of product purchased and date of purhcase), the Confirmation of Online or Email Warranty Registration, ex-factory Serial Number, etc. Note that all labels shall be kept intact. The warranty is valid only when the information above is correct, genuine, and complete;

3. Make sure the product is properly packed during delivery, the original package is highly recommended. Take pictures of the return packaging process to insure adequate care has been taken in the process.

4. Lithium and/or its Service Partners will conduct diagnosis and examination of the defective products to check the validity of the warranty claim.

5. If your warranty claim is accepted, the Product or its defective components/parts will be either repaired or replaced free of charge. Note that any delivery cost incurred in the process shall be born by you. 

6. In case your warranty claim be rejected, a repair/replace cost and fee with round trip delivery cost will be estimated and sent to you for confirmation.Lithium and/or its Service Partners Service Partners will only begin the work after your written confirmation and Pre-payment received. 

Rebuilt Engine Labels:

All Lithium Rebuilt engines comes with 1- The engine's identification number; 2-The date of re-manufacture; 3- statement that the engine is a replacement or rebuilt engine; 4-The name and address of the rebuilder; 5-the name and address of the installer of the engine.
